The concept of design Project (DP) adVantage is to build a roadgoing version of the 2006 V8 Vantage N24. It will be to Roo Specification "RS" using lessons learnt over the development life of the V8 Vantage.
The Vantage "RS" will feature a combination of reduced weight and increased power combined with more focused handling that can easily be switched between road and track modes. The target power to weight ratio is 300 bhp/tonne. Optimally power will be boosted to 430bhp with the aim of reducing weight from 1570 to 1400kg.
Visual enhancements will utilise carbon fibre components to reduce weight.
Many of the body, suspension and brake components developed by Aston Martin for the N24 and V12 Vantage RS will be utilised along with various performance updates.
